Hello there! And welcome to Dandelion Seeds, an illustrated newsletter in search of the magic in everyday moments.
Last week, I loved trying something new — an illustrated meditation on Rainer Maria Rilke’s timeless encouragement to “live the questions now.”
But as I read through your responses, what I loved even more was hearing about how much his words have meant to you; how they’ve helped you to navigate seasons of not-knowing in your own life, and even to welcome the mystery and unfolding.
In honor of Rilke and the guide that he’s been to us all, I’ve hand-lettered a few of your comments today, and thank you as always for being here.
With love,
Candace
Thank you all again for your wonderful comments on last week’s illustrated meditation, especially to , , and .
Thank you, Candace!! What a lovely surprise to see my words in your gorgeous handwriting! It’s proof that even not knowing can be beautiful. I feel like we are holding hands as we take a big leap into the Great Unknown. Weeeeeee!
Lovely, your artful sharing of readers comments. It's not at all weak or shameful to admit not knowing something. I'll lend more credence to someone who's not afraid to say that vs. another's blustering, puffed up 'understanding' or command of an issue. It's true. There is just so much that I truly do not know!
