Jahzeer, your comment made my day yesterday 😭 Please know I feel just as grateful, that you took the time to share your story with our community -- it was an honor to bring it to life and to have it be part of this series!
Joan, I'm so sorry to hear that yesterday was a difficult day, but I'm so glad that Jahzeer's story could send some peace and soothing thoughts your way 🤍
I’m really enjoying this series, and today’s reminds me of how much I like the sound of rain during the wet season in the Pacific Northwest. Right now it’s dry, dry, dry ... it’s hard to even imagine it ever raining again. So I look forward to that first night I hear the rain hitting the roof outside my bedroom window.
I'm so glad to hear you're enjoying the series, Tom, and that Jahzeer's story brought back good memories of the PNW rainy season :) Thanks so much for reading!
Candace, this is so soothing. Every time I see bluebells with raindrops clinging to them, I’m going to remember your art and this lovely, little story. It made me think of how life is just a million such moments strung together. Thank you!
Priya, you have the loveliest way with words! I love how you put that, about "a million such moments strung together." Back in 2017, I had the chance to speak at a Creative Mornings event in Montevideo, and it was only when they told me their theme that month was "moments," that I realized how important they've become in my own life. Moments are everything, aren't they? And thank you for capturing that thought here so beautifully 🤍
Oh, Candace! This is just the most beautiful thing ever. Thank you for bringing my little story to life. Going to be glowing with gratitude all day!

I love this! And the sound of rain resonates with me so much
I love all of these pieces, and on a day when I am not at my best, this is so soothing. Thanks for sharing it.

I hate to bring up filthy commerce after such a lovely post, but would you eve consider selling a copy of that little meadowlark?
But of course! I'm not sure if I have your email, but please feel free to send me a note to candacerardon@gmail.com and we can chat more there.
Lovely art as always.
Thank you, Ellen!
