Hello there! And welcome to Dandelion Seeds, an illustrated newsletter in search of the magic in everyday moments.
I can’t thank you all enough for your beautiful responses to last week’s callout for the words you reach for.
There were song lyrics and prayers and passages from beloved novels. But there were four poems that I found especially moving — so much so that I’d like to try something different for this community edition of Dandelion Seeds.
I’ll be sharing one poem a week for the next four weeks, so that you can savor each line and spend a little more time with it. Then I’ll bring them all together, into one final collection — or what I’m thinking of as an anthology of hope.
Today’s poem, a classic, was shared by Kristin Albright, and I couldn’t imagine better words to begin this series with.
With love,
Candace

I love this poem - and it's so true! Sitting outside listening to the birds, the bugs, cuddling my fur babies and noticing my breath always brings me back to myself. Away from the noise that does its best to turn our lives upside down!
I JUST started reading his poetry collection earlier this month! It’s a great reminder that reconnection with nature is grounding.
