Water! Yes, my “good place” seems to always involve the ocean of the Outer Banks, the James River by my house or any body of water I can sit by—if only for a minute. I remember you asking Dad “to find us a river to picnic by” on family vacations. Mostly what I’m taking away from this collection is that I need to be a good place for those in my spheres of influence—a safe space that refreshes their souls. Thank you to everyone who is sharing!!!!! ❤️

I love spending time walking along the seashore. I live inland, but used to live in Boston and often traveled the commuter rail to the North Shore. I'm always happy when a hiking trail leads me to a fast-moving brook, a waterfall, or a vernal pool. So refreshing! 🏞
