Hello there!
And welcome to our newest community edition of Dandelion Seeds, The Words We Reach For — a collection of poems shared by you, illustrated and hand-lettered by me, and inspired by this question:
What are the words you reach for?
As though, when we’re feeling far from ourselves, we can almost viscerally reach out across the space between who we are today and who we long to be again, and there are words to help us begin that journey home.
Today, I’ve brought the four poems I featured in the series together, to make it easier to share or return to in the future.
Thank you to everyone who took part in this community collaboration, especially Kristin Albright,
, , and . I was so moved by your beautiful responses, and if you have a moment, I encourage you to read through all the poems, prayers, and even song lyrics that were shared here. Here’s to the words you reach for, and the hope and light they provide.
With love,
Candace
