Hello there! And welcome to Dandelion Seeds, an illustrated newsletter in search of the magic in everyday moments.
Friends, by the time you read this, there’s a very good chance I’ll be on a plane for the first time in a year and a half — and on my way back to Uruguay for the first time since we moved to Belgium.
And even though summer is waiting for us in the Southern Hemisphere, I’m carrying some of the wonder of this season in our new home with me.
Tiny shoes set out for Sinterklaas.
Christmas markets that feel as cozy as a village.
And real Christmas trees placed right on the sidewalk, lights glowing on their branches like stars.
Today, I wanted to bring these new stories together in one place, into an anthology for the holiday season.
It’s called “What December Had to Say,” and if there’s someone you know who might enjoy this collection, please feel free to send it their way, too.
With love (from 30,000 feet),
Candace
Merry Christmas in Belgium 🥰🎄
Always a pleasure to see my little country through your eyes ✨☺️
What a lovely post. What I love most is what you mentioned about the candles being stars... love that and will, from now on, look at these candles differently. 🥰
