As I watched Kamala's speech, I was moved to tears myself when I saw the young women in the crowd crying. Their countenance reflecting fear and despair. It broke my heart. I silently prayed that their tears would transform into LIGHT and ENERGY. May all women know their power and influence in this world, even when it seems dark and hopeless. Years ago I studied stars and this one fact blew my mind: "In simplest terms, a star “shines” or “releases energy” or “emits light” when its light travels at a specific speed and then suddenly is blocked or hits something…we are actually seeing the moment each “little sun” releases their energy that had been waiting and fighting to get outside of itself." It is only when a star is BLOCKED or HITS SOMETHING that it actually finds it brilliance. It is TIME for each one of us to FIND OUR BRILLIANCE. Keep reading to your sweet little girls, Candace Rose, for the future truly is in the hearts and hands of mothers shaping the minds of their children.

"We are actually seeing the moment each 'little sun' releases their energy that had been waiting and fighting to get outside of itself." Wow. That is such a powerful thought, Mom -- I can't thank you enough for taking the time to share it here. I love the idea that a moment of blockage can help a star find its brilliance, and I'm not sure there was ever a more fitting picture for us all to hold onto right now. So grateful for you and your wisdom! 🤍🤍

Thank you for this, Candace. For some reason, my mind has gone blank regarding the election. It's over. I can't think about what will happen even though my husband tells me, almost in a sly manner, "Let's see what happens." I can't think of it anymore. It hurts too much and I can't do anything more.

When I went to the store today, a woman was coming out of the door as I was entering. She looked sad, like it was just another day. I smiled at her thinking maybe it would help ... connect in some positive way. Her face changed ever so slightly, the corners of her mouth tipping upwards. Ever ... so ... slightly. That's all I can do.

I haven’t been able to bring myself to watch her speech yet so thanks for sharing this small portion! To say that I’m utterly heartbroken & devastated would be an understatement but we must soldier on & look for those stars!

“There is only one way to happiness and that is to cease worrying about things which are beyond the power of our will.’

Just beautiful Candace. I believe that every energy in the universe has an equal and opposite energy. However much darkness we find, there will always be light available too if we seek it ✨
