These poems make me realize how many kindreds are in the world, that my favorites keep appearing. I lost one of my best friends to cancer last month, and in the preceding month, being with her in her last days, this poem was my constant companion. Beautiful, Candace.

Beautiful. Hits so close to home. Reminding us once again that our happiness is our responsibility, and beauty is in the eye of the beholder. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eye_of_the_Beholder_(The_Twilight_Zone,_1959)

The gift, the free gift of poetry that graces our lives. Surrounded with words of beauty, which if we let ourselves absorb them, feeds the Light within us. We have all that we really need.

Beautiful juxtaposition of emotions. What's haunting me is a new look at the word holiness. "...a holiness inside everything." To me, this evoked an image of emptiness ... a sacred hollowing-out of one's being. Leaving a fragile space for something new that, perhaps, may enter ... or not. An eternal ache.

Candace - Thank you for taking such a meaningful poem at this time of so much that is astir in the world and in our society, in a time that feels fraught, and adding such beauty to it. I LOVE this rendition with your beautiful artwork. Yes, yes, yes. And thank you.
