Candace, I am a newbie in your lovely garden. Congratulations on your second year. You are so wise and thoughtful...and yet so young. Reminding us that it does all add up is particlularly mindful now as I am caring for my 92 yr old MIL. I want you to know that you do make a difference in small and big ways. Best of luck on your next year.
I love seeing it all in one place like this. And I equally love how you've assembled it, with all the work behind it. Also, considering all that's happening in the world, it's good to be reminded of the power of small, deliberate actions adding up to something incredibly impactful. May we all remember that in the days ahead.
I love reading your posts because I know they will always bring a smile to my face and allow me an opportunity to view something from a new perspective. Thank you for all the work you put into this project to bring joy to so many of us around the world. Sending you the biggest hug xx
How lovely to see it all spread out together! I was just talking with a friend today about out desire for expansive time to do the things we love, how much we can do in a short time, and how much those bits sustain us, and how it is also helpful to have some more expansive stretches occasionally. But yes, it does add up.
I think this is wonderful. Moving down, scrolling down, like the ancient Chinese scrolls. I felt the smooth sequencing in front of my eyes the way it goes in my mind. Magical and suspenseful—and then, the great reward! It all adds up! Don’t we all hope for just that in our lives?
I look forward to your lovely work each and every time. Thank you so much for your kindness (and to your husband for those extra-long moments for you!)
Exactly what I needed to hear today. Thank you! Your paintings and the whole aesthetic of your newsletter are beautiful. Do you do each painting traditionally or digitally?
Thank you for this necessary reminder. So many of us have that gnawing feeling that we never do enough, and that what we do isn't good enough. But we do what we can, and that is often a miracle. And if we simply show up for our own work, it gets better - as you say, another miracle. I always enjoy your posts, and love the illustrations -- especially that red lantern
The power and beauty of staying on course! Kudos. to you I am very project driven and when I sometimes drag my feet I realize the lesson is always mine to learn. Our life need not be a race or rush, in fact as I get even older I think "slow it down. please" Savor and squeeze in all the moments you can. I loved seeing your work. Thank you!

I also a caregiver, and what beauty I find for coming here. It’s a blessing to see the world through Candace eyes. Truly.

Your posts have offered a moment of peace, and now a good reminder of hope, in an otherwise chaotic time. Thank you.
