Hello there! Welcome to Dandelion Seeds, and welcome back to the final week of This Is A Good Place.
Friends, since I first invited you to help me create our new community series, I’ve loved reading about your good places.
About your favorite cozy chairs and the windows they look out on; about your family farms and gardens; and, as you’ll read today, about the places you return to.
But over the past week, your stories have taken on even greater meaning for me. As I’ve watched what’s been happening in the US, your stories have come to feel like a form of quiet resistance.
A way of saying that, despite everything that would have us believe otherwise —
This is still a good place, and goodness still exists in the world.
With love,
Candace
Thank you to everyone who shared your good places, especially:
- Sara Em of
- Jill Fuller of
- and Adri de la Garza of
.It’s been an honor to share your stories in our new series.
I love coming here. I love reading these community posts. I love the delicate art, the gentle words, the spirit that feeds my soul. When I am here, I am not a label or a category. I am a soul that comes for sustenance and leaves refreshed. And I never go away disappointed.
Thank you, Candace.
i loved reading through the comments on the original post, but these offerings are an extra layer of beautiful to read again here. what a tender series! <3
