Hello there! Welcome to Dandelion Seeds, and welcome back to week two of our new community series, This Is A Good Place.
Friends, so many of the good places you wrote about for this series had something to do with water — and so it only felt right to dedicate an entire week to it.
You wrote about your favorite beaches and rivers, oceans and lakes. You wrote about surfing with dolphins, and waiting for a whale to breach.
You wrote about the water rushing by — and the peace that flows in its currents.
I’m thrilled to share this new part of the series with you today, and I hope you’ll enjoy these moments as much as I did.
With love,
Candace

Candace!! You did an extreme makeover on my humble words and now they feel glorious! Thank you so much.
Substack people are the best of the best. I’m looking at you, Candace.
Water! Yes, my “good place” seems to always involve the ocean of the Outer Banks, the James River by my house or any body of water I can sit by—if only for a minute. I remember you asking Dad “to find us a river to picnic by” on family vacations. Mostly what I’m taking away from this collection is that I need to be a good place for those in my spheres of influence—a safe space that refreshes their souls. Thank you to everyone who is sharing!!!!! ❤️
